- 1540 Erato > From the French Quarter, walk to the Canal and Carondelet stop across Canal Street to find the number 12 street car. Ride nine stops to St. Charles Avenue at Erato Street.
- 1448 Fourth > Go back to the St. Charles streetcar and take number 12 eight stops to St. Charles and Third. Then walk to Prytania and Fourth Street. All of the fences in the Garden District are within walking distance.
- 1424 Fourth > Next door to 1448 Fourth.
- 1538 Fourth > Across Prytania on the same side of the street.
- 2801 Prytania > Walk toward Washington on the same side of the street.
- 2805 Prytania > Next door to 2801 Prytania.
- 1801 General Pershing > Head back to the street car to go Uptown. Take number 12 seven stops to St. Charles and Milan.
- 4316 Willow > Either walk 17 minutes or go to Napoleon to take the number 9 bus five stops from Baronne to S. Claiborne.
- 3434 Canal > Take the number 9 bus from S. Claiborne and Napoleon to S. Broad St. at Canal St. then get on the number 47 street car and ride five stops to Canal at Clark.
- 1206 N. White > Go back to the same street car stop and get on the number 48 and ride seven stops to N. Carrollton at Dumaine. from here switch to the number 91 bus and ride seven stops to Esplanade at N. White.
- 1408 Esplanade > Go back to the same bus stop and get on the number 91 again. Take it eight stops to Esplanade at N. Villere.
- 1205 Elysian Fields > Walk to Esplanade and N. Rampart to get on the number 8 bus or the number 46 street car and ride to St. Claude and Elysian Fields.
- 2408 Dauphine > 10 minute walk with no real public transportation options.
- 915 Royal > From the Marigny to the French Quarter is a very pleasant 17 minute walk through two of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New Orleans. Or a 6 minute walk to the number 8 bus, five stops to N. Rampart and St. Ann followed by a 9 minute walk to Royal Street.
